Fish cruising. The clock runs in real time — speed it up if you don't want to wait like you would on the water.

Untested prototype. This lure has never been fished. What you see here is a model built from published creel surveys and fish-behaviour studies, applied to the lure's geometry and the water you chose. It is not a measurement of this lure and it guarantees no fish, no catch rate and no performance.
How the simulation keeps time honest
At 1x, one simulated second takes one real second. The model predicts a catch rate for this lure, species, water and time of day (fish per hour, from the literature), converts it to strikes per hour using the species' hook-up rate, and then feeds fish into the visible zone as a Poisson process tuned so the average wait to a strike matches that prediction. The resident school you see cruising is scenery: those fish are not feeding and never count. Speeding up multiplies the simulated clock; it does not make the fish keener.
